AmeriCorps Information Sessions (for organizations)

Volunteer Florida invites you to attend AmeriCorps funding information sessions in Pinellas County (Thursday, February 8), Miami-Dade County (Tuesday, February 20), and Duval County (Tuesday, February 27). We will help qualified organizations successfully apply for spring 2018 AmeriCorps funding and move the needle on their passion projects! These information sessions will help organizations with the application process, timeline, and best practices to secure funding. The due date for applications is anticipated to be April 5, 2018.

Leaders of non-profits, education foundations, schools, faith-based organizations, and other community service organizations are welcome to attend!

AmeriCorps applicant organizations must:

  • Provide an intervention, supported by evidence, that engages AmeriCorps members to solve a community challenge
  • Provide 24% match, cash and/or in-kind
  • Be appropriately staffed to manage a large federal grant
